Bisnode

Bisnode was a company that offered decision support in the form of digital business, marketing and credit information.

The circle shape held a central place in the visual identity, so making a geometric sans serif with a circular “o” was a natural choice. But I went further and tried to include circular shapes anywhere that it seemed appropriate, not just in letters like "a", "b", and “g”, but also the “y” and even the “r” which had a dot instead of the usual upstroke. Those interested in the history of typography might recognize this kind of “r” from Paul Renner’s sketches for Futura.

Bisnode was sold in 2020 to the American company Dun & Bradstreet, and so the Bisnode typeface is no longer used.
